We brainstormed ideas of how to manage and motivate non-motivated students who want to come to the gym to do nothing. This raises a lot of issues (one  being safety) especially when students are put in PE classes that failed the semester before or have previously refused to do anything in our classes. 

We discussed major issues that are consistently increasing within the school and PE. Some of these include vaping, possible drug deals and refusal to participate. We discussed the rigor in our own classrooms and balance of scheduling with general academic and AP courses. Advanced students seemed conflicted in scheduling for their own interdisciplinary coursework.

We discussed steps we can take for excessive absences as well as key kids being pulled out of class.
