Electric cars are possible to replace traditional cars in the future for two reasons, the cost is gradually decreasing and the problem of constant charging will be solved.
First, with the progress of science and technology, the cost of electric vehicles is gradually reduced. (Hanlet, 2017) UBS analyzed that "the total cost of electric vehicles owned by consumers may be in line with that of internal combustion engines." when the total cost of electric vehicles and internal combustion engines is the same, we will find that electric vehicles have a certain economic potential. The longer it is used, the more economic benefits electric vehicles have than traditional fuel vehicles. Tony (2020), the operating cost of electric vehicles is extremely low. With the advance of time, research shows that its total cost will be completely lower than that of traditional fuel vehicles. Moreover, (Hanlet, 2017) USB also found that the bolted power train was much cheaper than expected. This also proves the possibility of cost reduction in the future. In addition, a reasonable charging strategy can also reduce the operation cost. For example, Tony (2020), the average cost of overnight charging in operation is much lower than that of gasoline and diesel. Various factors show that the operating cost of electric vehicles will decrease significantly in the near future, and its reasonable price will be trusted by consumers, which makes it possible to realize low cost and high demand. Therefore, electric vehicles are likely to become the mainstream in the future.

Secondly, nowadays scientists make a breakthrough in charging method. In the progress of popularize electric car, a tough trouble is how to charge them. There was a new charging method which invented by US chipmaking company, a wireless charger(Campbell,2017). Since the traditional charger have a lot of restrictions, such as site, technology and infrastructure. The appearance of wireless charger help prolong the car range and avoid battery exhaustion during the trip. It is likely that drivers can not only charge in the garage or fixed charging station, but can also charge on the highway and at home. Therefore, this problem will be completely solved in the near future.

There is a good chance that electric cars will replace standard cars by 2030. There are three reasons for it. Because there is no CO2 pollution emmission. And there is no noise pollution. Also there is more economical to maintain.

Electric cars do reduce the carbon dioxide pollution, its carbon dioxide emissions is lower than gasoline-powered cars.(Florian,2015) As the power to reduce the carbon dioxide, the balance of the petrol car will be further removed In Sweden and France and other renewable energy and nuclear power countries, if taking into account all factors, the service life of the electric car than gasoline cars emit 70% less carbon.

The noise and vibration levels of motors in operation are much lower than those of traditional internal combustion engines.(Wei Zhang,2014) At idle speed and low speed, the comfort of electric vehicles is much higher than that of traditional vehicles. With the increase of speed, tire noise and wind noise become the main sources of noise, and they return to the same level. This feature of electric cars will undoubtedly be of great help to improve the performance of cars.

Electric cars are simple in structure and easy to maintain. Electric vehicles no longer need complex transmission mechanisms and exhaust systems that take up a lot of space, which is convenient to maintain and saves a lot of money, while the space has been greatly expanded. Moreover, electric cars can easily achieve four-wheel drive.(Criss,2017)

This essay will argue electric cars should be replace standard cars by 2030 because electric cars emit zero emissions and reduce noise pollution, electric cars cost the same as cars and generate more profit.

One reason is that electric cars are greener than conventional ones. This is because electric vehicles are driven by power batteries and motors, which will not produce waste and exhaust pollution when working. It is very beneficial to environmental protection and clean air.

Another reason is that electric cars cost less than gasoline cars. This is because of the high energy conversion efficiency of electric cars, which improves the utilization efficiency. Charging at night makes full use of generating equipment and smoothes out peak-to-trough differences in the grid.

In the article, UBS analysts took apart a Chevy Bolt, which led them to find that the total cost of electric car ownership for consumers could match that of internal combustion engines from 2018, meaning their cost of ownership. That would create an inflection point for demand, with electric vehicles expected to account for 14% of global sales in 2025. (Hanley, 2017) In the investigation of UBS, the term EV only refers to all-electric vehicles. After dismantling the car, UBS called it "the most disruptive vehicle class since the Model T ford" and said Europe is expected to lead the world in electrification applications. The UBS team found that the Bolt had a lot of potential to reduce costs, but the company would lose money if it didn't sell enough of the car. Overall, automakers will start making 5% of their profits on electric vehicles by 2023. Ubs says that in the electric car world, the spare parts business will be significantly reduced.

According to this article we can know. Last week, Qualcomm unveiled wireless charger technology for electric cars in Paris. In what could be a technological breakthrough that could transform the economics of electric cars, the company has demonstrated that vans can be charged directly from cables under the road while driving. Sales have risen as carmakers introduce new models that can travel farther on a single battery, but a lack of charging facilities and cost have kept them from widespread adoption. Analysts expect sales of battery-powered cars to take off within five to 10 years, once ownership prices are on par with traditional internal-combustion vehicles. (Campbell,2017) The director of Sanef, a French company, said that after charging points were laid on highways, the number of electric vehicles increased sharply. However, fixed-point charging is always unable to meet the charging demand, which requires wireless charging. Many car companies are already developing sensor pads to allow vehicles to charge wirelessly. But the high cost of installing off-road sensors and cables makes it unlikely to be adopted soon.
