I went into this class hoping to learn more about the different types of special educational needs. I learned this along with how to teach these students effectively, and how to teach all students in ways that they best learn and feel loved. I feel like I hold myself to a pretty high standard which can be a good thing and a bad thing. I was able to get everything done on time and done to the best of my ability. This class equipped me to have a basic understanding of different special needs which will help me in the future as a teacher. I will understand more what those students need from me. I have also learned how important it is to build a relationship with the students and the impact that doing so has on the students and their ability to learn.
