What I learned from this week’s lecture is the difference in teaching online classes. I learned that there are several misconceptions about online classes. One misconception of teaching an online course as an is feeling that you do not know your students. As an educator it is hard to get to know your students online because they have become limited in participation. Most students become comfortable and are more likely to participate in an in class setting rather than online. Reading on this topic has given me insight and is relatable to me because I do feel as if I cannot properly get to know my students while teaching virtual.
