         <title>8th century- Feudalism </title>

Feudalism was a system of government where a powerful noble granted land to a lesser noble. </a>This is important because it became a tradition for the father to give his son the land. </pre>]]></description>

It got invaded by the Barbarian tribes, this cause many local kings and rulers to try and gain power. This is also the start of the Dark Ages or Middle ages. </a></div>]]></description>

This was the a fight over the holy land between the Holy Roman empire and the Muslims. This was the most successful out of all of the crusades, Europe drove the Turks out and took control of Jerusalem. </a></div>]]></description>

The city of Edessa was conquered by the Turks. The population was either killed or got soled into slavery. All of this caused the second crusade. This crusade was unsuccessful. This was also another Holy War against Islam.  </a></div>]]></description>

         <title>1187-1192-3rd Crusade </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://www.ancient.eu/img/r/p/500x600/9120.jpg?v=1535354229">The third crusade started in 1187 and ended in 1192. Saladin recaptured the city of Jerusalem from the Christians. This was started and led by Emperor Barbarossa of Germany, King Phillip Augustus of France, and King Richard the Lion-heart of England. In the end King Richard couldn't conquer Jerusalem, but got the right for pilgrims to visit the holy city once again.  </a></div>]]></description>
