Not a very realistic idea but spending a quality time working with a partner in the country of implementation - visiting communities and accompanying partners in their work (e.g. 3-6 months) would be ideal for creating closer relationship, better understanding of the context and details of work (issues, challenges, etc.) and more effective collaboration. I am grateful for my daughter and her friends this morning, walking to school in the rain and the storm, and having a great time despite it all - it reminds me of the energy of the youth and the children and how it can help carry us out of crisis.
