El estudiante comprometido con el aprendizaje colaborativo está anuente a cumplir sus roles, participa exponiendo su opinión de que desea y necesita aprender plantea objetivos autorregula su aprendizaje.
Está motivado a desarrollar porque lo que está haciendo le gusta.
Tienen una mente abierta a la opinión de los demás, deben tener empatía con sus compañeros ya que debe reinar el respeto a los acuerdos del grupo.

Profesor como Instructor: El profesor como instructor combina tanto la estructura cooperativa y las habilidades sociales como también monitorea e interviene y Evalúa motivando a trabajar en equipo eliminando barreras entre los estudiantes – usualmente tienen que ver con diferencias entre los integrantes del grupo con respecto a habilidad, sentido de responsabilidad.
