The pages are then proof read. Once it's all good to go, they get printed. Each text and picture  page then  has a picture taken of it to produce page negatives (The pages are just backwards). To maintain the desired colours in the pictures filming creates them using black and white dots(a book containing colour will have separate negatives). Negatives are then taped to a flat and are examined by strippers, making sure everything is lined up right. Blueprints are made of the pages and the publisher, editor, and/or art director checks for any mistakes. Then the flats are photographed and the negatives exposed onto a plate(Thin sheet of aluminum). After that they are sent to the press. Finally, the book is delivered to the bindery. Commercials are most common now a days, but reviews of books on blogs can have a huge effect on it because of the Halo Effect (the halo effect is where you put  impression on people influencing then to spread the word). The people who buy it are students, teachers, adults, and other kids who enjoy reading.
