what i know about areas, it's just like perimeter but instead of addition you multiply and instead of measuring the outside you measure the inside, i remember measuring it in square units or square feet so if the problem said find the area and it was a parallelogram i would count one side times it by 2 and then do the other side thats not parallel to the side that i just measured and then times it by 2, and yes areas can be into many different shapes and yes finding the area is easy if you know how to multiply.

What ik about area is that its the inside of a perimeter its just like an array also if you look at this you will see a orange border all that is in their is the array and the orange is the perimeter and when you try to count it you have to only count two sides like five and ten.

all i know about area is that its sorta like perimeter but with arrays like itsead of only the sides its the whole area that the given shape is taking up.its like the the surface that it takes up.in area its like perimeter but instead of adding it is multiplying.if one side is 4 inches long and the other is 3inches long the it would be 4 times 3 and its would be 12 and that is how you do area.i think
