This add represents ethos because it uses Marilyn Munroe who is a well known, trusted and liked celebrity. People will be more likely to buy the product just because Marilyn "uses the product" as it appears in the ad below. Also the reader assumes that Marilyn uses the product, and if they use the shampoo they could also have pretty hair like her's which makes the ad effective because the consumer believes they will have pretty hair like Marilyn.

This add represents logos because it says that "20,679 Physicians" who are reliable and trust worthy people "say.. Luckies are less irritating" Which would be a logical reason to smoke luckies, because you cough less. Also seeing a doctor recommend a cigarettes makes the consumer believe they are a less dangerous and leading the consumer to buy this over another cigarette that a doctor doesn't recommend.

This add represents pathos because it drives emotion. It makes the reader feel a certain way about the way they look. This add could make a lady with no curves feel as if she needs them to look cute in her swim suit. How the add says "like this? or this?" showing a sad and a happy lady also could make the viewer seem they would be happy if they had curves which makes it effective because the consumer believes they will be happy if they use this product.
