The goal of my program was to create explicitly to provide education, jobs, counseling, and recreation for students between the ages of 16-25. It provided help to high school students, college student, and graduate students in exchange for working part-time at their schools. If people were unable to finish their schooling or dropped out, the NYA provided part-time jobs for them to do.

Was The Programs Successful?

I believe the program was successful because it provided job for students who needed part-time jobs while they attended school. This helped them get job experience and make money. I think the most helpful thing was that the NYA gave jobs to those who dropped out or who were unable to find a job.

I believe this program was the right thing ti use the federal funding on because it created jobs for the youth. By creating jobs for the youth, it meant they made more money and therefore by making money, they were spending more and that is how we got out of the Great Depression.

Some people might disagree with this program because they don think the youth needs jobs as much as much as adults do. Also some people might not agree this is a program worth spending money on.
