Perfect tense.

Today I am learning the perfect tense. Perfect tense is translated to simple past tense. The perfect tense is formed by adding verb's participle to the present tense of haben and sein.
Most verbs take haben, while sein is often used to show the verbs changing a location or a change of state. For example, gene(to come), kommen(to come), laufen(to run), sterben(to die), wachsen(to grow), geneses(to recover) . And verbs take sein are always intransitive, which means they do not take direct accusative objective.

For the weak verb in the german perfect tense, it adds a ge-prefix and a t-suffix. For example, spieler-gespielt, leanen- gelernt,
arbeiten-gearbeitet, machen-gemacht. The verbs end in -ieren, they change to -iert.
studieren-studiert, manipulieren-manipuliert. Some verbs do not get a ge- prefix and change -en to t. besuchen-besucht, erleben-erlebt, verkaufen-verkauft.
As for strong verbs, ge- prefix is added and the stem vowel would change.sing-sung, fly-flown, singen-gesungen, fliegen-geflogen
