         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;The Atkins Diet is not very good for teens because in this diet you don't get enough carbs which means teens won't have enough energy to carry out their active days. This is not a well balanced diet that lacks a source of calcium which is essential for bone development and growth especially for teens. Not getting enough carbs can also cause side effects that include cramps, diarrhea ,skin rashes and discomfort. According to "the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition"&nbsp; teens without enough carbs and calcium don't get enough essential nutrients for their bodies to grow and develop properly.</div>]]></description>
