I relate to this because I’ve seen how my parents’ values, struggles, and experiences have influenced the way I think and act. Even when I try to be my own person, I can’t deny how much of them is in me.

I want to be more open about sharing my feelings. Sometimes, I tend to keep things to myself, afraid of being a burden or misunderstood. But I realize that expressing my thoughts can help strengthen our bond and prevent misunderstandings.

Mother Ignacia’s values I relate to:
Her resiliency and sense of responsibility resonate with me. Like her, I’ve learned to stay strong despite challenges, and I take my duties seriously, whether at school or at home. These values also remind me of my parents, who work hard to provide and never give up despite hardships.

Like Mother Ignacia, I strive to challenge these norms by embracing leadership, service, and independence while staying true to my values and faith. Her journey inspires me to break barriers and make a meaningful impact despite societal limitations.

If I were to improve something in my relationship with my family, it would be how I express my appreciation and gratitude and become more understanding. Sometimes, I get too focused on my responsibilities and forget to show how much I value them. I want to be more intentional in acknowledging their efforts and sacrifices while also being more patient and understanding, especially during challenging moments. Strengthening this bond will help me grow as a person and deepen our connection as a family.
