I did notice that the baby was quite small for its age compared to other babies I had seen. Also, when he cried it was quite a screeching sound, different to other babies’ cries.
-Byrom 3]]> 2020-08-26 09:28:46 UTC https://padlet.com/c_burke/5yg55ukaft89/wish/699466654 I have meet a baby before I started my midwifery journey, who's mother was addicted to drugs. when I meet the baby I noticed that he struggled to focus his eyes, they twitch from side to side, he was also small for his age. the mother didn't show much guilt as she was addicted to the drugs and didn't want to stop, but the father was very attentive by giving him the support and attention that he needed.
