How I’ve grown ?

I’ve grown with mu communication & being assertive skills. At first I was a little shy to open to everyone, but now I feel super comfortable to let loose! I’ve also learnt that everyone has a way of living so not to judge anyone by their race, gender, sexual preference etc. Gonna miss this program so much !!

This program has taught me so much. I have grown so much as an individual. I have learned to accept my failures and move on, to be more resilient, to be true to myself, and to be more present in life. I have evolved so much as a person, I feel so much better about myself.

This program has assisted me in blossoming into a beautiful version of myself. I am no longer a 17 years old introvert. I am more self-assertive and have gotten comfortable with being out of my comfort zone. In addition, I have learned to not stereotype people and to appreciate them for who they are and not what I want them to be. Also, I learned that socialising with others from diverse backgrounds is actually good, as I made two wonderful friends.

Like everyone else, this programme has definitely made me more outspoken. From the transition we had made to everything being online almost two years ago, I rarely had my camera and microphone on (especially when in classes). I would only communicate using the chat, sometimes I would not even communicate at all. I think a part of that has to do with my classmates being silent as well but nevertheless, I believe that somewhat "introverted" part of me has slightly diminished as a result of being apart of the YA program. Hopefully, it'll remain "diminished" when I begin my (online) classes two weeks from now. :)

I have developed my ability to speak confidently and get my ideas and thoughts across. I have also grown to be punctual in attendance and handing in assignments. Most importantly, I have learned more about myself which has helped me to become a better person.

I have come to a place where I'm able to speak more openly, be more willing to listen and understand things from a different perspective. This program has taught me the importance of building bonds and having a community to call your own and has also reinforced the idea that failure is a part of growth and I should be gentle with myself.
One of the biggest learning experiences from this program that I have gathered is how important it is to appreciate the diversity of people. Through adopting this ideology, we can grow as individuals and be more open to change.
The Hazika who started this program is not the same one who will end it. The new Hazika is ready to take on the world, one day at a time and one change at a time!

The privilege of experiencing this program exceeded my expectations. Every new session was an adventure into the depths of socialization and ideation. My main learning experience revolved around self-improvement as I was able to hone better communication skills and retain valuable information on the culture and traits of my peers. I was able to expand my range of knowledge and can now utilize my newfound skills for positive impacts.
I'm so proud of the new steps I've taken to stand where I am now. May this growing experience allow me to attain a new version of myself!

Being a part of this program has helped me grow in so many areas of my life and I am so excited to continue growing. I have learnt to welcome uncomfortable situations while learning to speak up. The fact that this program is coming to an end, it is not the end of my journey it is just the beginning. This program has helped me to step out of my comfort zone, speak more openly and be ready to listen to the different perspective from others. Also being apart of this program, it has advance my thinking skills, leadership skills and communication skills which was my main aim in joining this program. My main learning experience would be, knowing how important diversity is.

This program has allowed me to grow in soo many ways. I have grown as an individual, embracing self and getting to know what it is I really want. I have developed my communication skills and have stepped out of my comfort zone when it comes to interacting with new people and trying new things. I have learnt about our differences and similarities as an individual and being from different countries. I have developed a newly found confidence in the future of this world- I strongly believe that it is in great hands. I say this to say that you guys have shown me how capable and committed the youth of this world can be. Y'all have shown me how to tap into my inner strength and contribute to betterment collectively. Y'all have shown me how much of a great contribution team work can have over individual. Y'all have made me BELIEVE!!
One more thing I have grown in is OUR determination to change the world fort he better of course!! I have seen it in y'all and I now understand it needs a 'we not me' solution.

I don't even know where to start. This program has done so much good for me. I can easily adapt to a new environment and communicate with people I didn't know from a can of paint LOL. Everyone is unique and different in their own way and I wasn't really in touch with that until I became a youth ambassador. Meeting new people, completing challenges, and working together has really improved my social skills and I can now say I am comfortable with being me and staying true to who I am!

This program has really helped me! I have learned to communicate with others, work with others on group projects efficiently, and voice my opinions. This program has been a step out of my comfort zone and I am really sad it’s ending but I am thankful for the opportunity! I hope one day I can meet everyone in person🥲
