The original idea was Pentti Vilppula's. Statue is called the Smile Statue. It is hand made and the material is gypsum. The statue has been given to helpful and fair pupils in comprehensive schools. I think this work of art is simple and beautiful. It can easily be used as a part of interior decoration. It is also timeless and its meaning is nice.

It is built in 1963. The sculpture is called klemetti-Kuula’s sculpture. This work is made to respect nearby composers like Toivo Kuula and Heikki Klemetti. It is really different sculpture than the others, but I think it’s cool.
