You can do so many things with Magic School and never have to pay for the product. Some products are already behind a paywall and that makes it hard for teachers to access.

You can literally upload text or a PDF to Notebook LM and it will generate a podcast between two AI generated speakers. There is also an interactive mode so you can ask the podcasters questions!

Using ChatGPT in an elementary spanish class could help students build vocabulary, practice speaking and writing, and explore culture. For ex. creating simple stories in Spanish or bilingual format and modeling basic dialogues (greetings, introductions, shopping, etc.).

I have been reluctant to use choice boards because of the time it takes to create them. Gemini sure makes it easy!

What I like about AI in the classroom is how it can be used to help brainstorm and work through ideas quickly. You might have a loose idea for a short film, but AI can help reshape it to better fit the contest or prompt a little better.

I might have my students conduct an interview. Create a persona that has an interesting story, but is nervous about talking about it and see how they can encourage the subject to open up (so they can get better at conducting interviews for video).
