Each monarch governs their specific community or "feudalistic society", instead of having one person be in charge of all of them. We see this present day because each state has a governor, and they govern each state independently. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Three Field System</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The three field system benefited the European population by keeping the fields fertile and producing the max amount of food possible over time. Because they were planting more and more crops, they had more food for the horses. Because of this, they used the horses to plow instead of oxen, resulting in faster production and plowing of crops. This also gave a huge surplus in food and population, helping everybody out.<br><br>A system where crops were rotated between Three fields<br>-First field was planted with crops that provided food, like Wheat or Rye<br>-Second Field was planted with crops that made the soil more fertile by adding nitrogen, crops like beans lentils and peas<br>-Third field was left unused<br><br></div>]]></description>

Around this centralized estate, there were smaller units where the Serfs lived. These were occupied by laborers who worked for the owner of the main estate in return for a part of the land and protection.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The middle ages in Europe were filled with diseases and filth. Some common diseases were dysentry, tuberculosis, arthritis, and what experts think was the common flu we still have today. Sadly, the mortality rate within infants was high and giving birth was a risk for both the mother and the child, way more than it is today. Lack of hygiene in the middle ages did not help, and super poor people just bathed with cold water and no soap.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The black death was one of the most devastating epidemic throughout the middle ages. In the mid 1300's, 12 ships docked in Europe coming from the Black Sea. (hence the name) Before they realized that almost everybody on those ships were dead, it was too late and it had spread throughout the population of 60 million people. The black death would go on to kill over 20 million people in Europe.</div>]]></description>
