Born in Kiribati of Micronesian and Polynesian descent but Australian-raised on the Gold Coast. Competencies in Spanish, Italian, French and sometimes Portuguese (after many beers). Musician by profession but plan on being a full time teacher/researcher. My interests lie in learner strategies, curriculum design and discourse studies. I want to learn Hangul and live and teach over in Korea.
