Using them myself for a few units, I do notice that they waste a lot of class time. That makes them more familiar and comfortable to the students. Although early set up may take more time, the more the students use them in different areas, the quicker and better they are at setting them up.

Almost like good habits. The more we focus on them and work towards good habits, the better students will get.
