1. It made war more likely as when Kaiser Wilhelm took over, he limited Germany's allies in a way that enouraged war. He delibrately lost the allegiance of Germany and Russia to gain the recognition of Germany as a stronger country. This immediately encouraged more enemies.

2. Yes, it does show that germany was responsible as their ruler has a more agressive approach.
[extra info]
It also shows that at the time the kaiser had more power over the government than he should have with him being able to fire the iron chancellor (Bismarck) because of a disagreement meaning that the government had to follow the idea of the kaiser which were ludicrous.
-Group 6

A. It made war more likely because germany wanted to unite. This made france unhappy, as they were enemys with germany and did not want germany to become more powerful. After the war, germany was led vunerable when they got a new Kaiser.
B. No, Germany was not to blame because they didnt actauly want to start the war between them and France. France wanted to take it over and were unhappy with Germany. So after the 1 year war France lost, and this forced Germany to be more strengthened overtime.

A. This made the war more likely as there were two major opposing alliances in Europe meaning if one country went to war with another, it would bring most of the major powers in Europe to war.

B. It was Germany's government's fault, because their clumsy politics and politic caused many potential allies to turn to others for alliances uniting many major powers against Germany and its allies.

A. It made war more likely because a competition between countries tried to intimidate each other into being scared. All countries were
spending money on having more and better reinforcements this causing a competition of "who has the best stuff" to break out

B. Germany was to blame because when they first ordered the new fleet of 41 battle ships this caused England to feel threatened and retalyate.
