There is very little traffic of cars and people. 

Most are drivers transporting merchandise and people walking dogs or going shopping. 

At 8 o'clock in the evening people go out to the balconies to applaud the doctors, nurses and health staff in general. 

There are also other sectors that should be applauded. 

The pollution has decreased and the stars are better seen. 

Let's all stay home.

In the morning, if it's sunny, I see people come out onto their balconies to look at their plants, look at the sky or just breathe the fresh air. That is also what I do.

At night, I see the lights on in the flats and the movement of the people who are confined inside. At 8 o'clock I can't see people who go out onto the balconies or open their windows to applaud health staff, but I can hear them.

When I go out to my terrace I can see the Tibidabo mountain in the distance, and I remember that the weekend before confinement I was there.

I live in Mèxic street near Gran Via avenue.

I can see Spain's square and Las Arenas shopping centre. The building is an old bullring.

There is very little traffic and no people. 

At 8 o'clock in the evening, people come out to thank all the medical staff in the balconies or terrace. Many people applaud the doctors, nurses and general staff of the hospital.

In many cities, including Barcelona, there is little pollution because there are a few cars and you can see the stars better.  Let's stay at home.

Through my window I see Diputacion Street.

Along the street there are tall, green trees.

In summer these trees give us shade and help us to endure the heat.

In front of my terrace there is a big building that occupies the whole street.

On its balconies there are small tables and chairs that fill up with people when the days are sunny.

There are also flowerpots with different colours.

At the end of the street I can see a small part of Collserola and at the top of the mountain the communication tower.

On these days, as there is no noise from traffic or people, we can hear the singing of some birds and the bells of Sant Josep Oriol's church.

In the street there are only a few people walking with their dogs.

If I look out and look to the left I can see Sants Station. It is lonely and everything is silent.

But curiously, under my flat I see a line of people separated about a meter one from the other. They are waiting to enter the supermarket.

Everything is strange. There are strange things…

I see the Villa Emilia hotel closed, and its great empty terrace, nobody sings, nobody has dinner, so nobody works. l can see many people, people alone, with children, all in the same situation, all waiting for everything to happen and for everything to go well. 

I can see someone sunbathing, exercising or looking at the sky, which is now much cleaner, and every day at eight o’clock we go out to clap other people that we don't see from the balcony. However we know that they are working very hard to all of us. We will resist!

There are diferent  trees, palm trees, chairs and benches for seating and also a playground.

In the past, there were always people running, walking or sitting, and children playing. This is what I miss the most, the voices from people and especially children playing around.

Nobody is walking. Sometimes one person comes with his dog over the road. Few cars are travelling, I don't hear any noise.
I have a strange feeling and sometimes I’m afraid, but I try to think positively. We have to make a big effort to get over this situation.
I think it is important to do the same routines every day.
In my case; I think it is essential to do the same routines every day. In my case; in the morning: I do gymnastics, I have breakfast; I work in my garden, I do my English homework. After lunch, I watch TV, the news and films of the mystery of Agatha Christie. Before dinner, I walk in my small garden. Before sleeping, I read some novels.
And I always look through the window to see what is happening in the world.

Now, our balcony is our universe!

Our neighbours are now our family. We share rainy days and sunny days. We are happy when we all applaud doctors, nurses and other people, who help us all in these moments, they must work very hard in these difficult times.

We contemplate and are amazed at the small details in the buildings, houses, balconies. Beautiful spring flowers bloom.

Now, in front of the house, the workers return to work, they are noisy, but we are happy because they can work again. We hope to see you soon. We miss you all.
