For art, I have turned 2 photographed portraits I have taken in to embroidery patterns, and I am going to recreate the photos using a different medium (embroidery floss and yarn), using different techniques for each one. The first one being traditional cross stitch using embroidery floss, and the second one using a punch needle and different kinds of yarn, textures, sizes, colours, and embroidery floss, in order to achieve two completely different effects to enhance the emotional aspect and the variations of media I can use within limitations.

For drama, I will be taking a series of videos of myself, all in different lighting, settings/backgrounds, clothing and makeup with a recording of a poem/creative speech I have written, based on the nature of emotions, how it can change us as people, impact our every day lives. The point of the different clothes, makeup and settings and backgrounds is to really enhance the amount of change in emotions and feelings a person can experience throughout a limited span of time. Each different aspect added to this video will represent a different time of life, where I have experienced a different emotion and it will be very evident throughout the video as it will connect to the creative speech/poem.

For english, I will be using the same piece if writing, either a personal poem or a section of a book, and I will represent it in multiple ways using multiple platforms. In doing this, I will have taken one written piece which is a platform in itself, and using different elements of media and art to enhance the different interpretations and perspectives it can have, really showing the variety and the range of ways something can be seen. I'll be trying to create each piece using very diverse lenses. This will be portrayed as the original piece and how it was written, using an artistic platform, either a drawing or painting, or taking a series of photographs and captioning them to the relevance, or a short film/video, or an interpretative speech.

For law, I will be comparing the story of my family in Palestine and what they experienced, my grandfathers struggles in being deported, my uncle in being imprisoned for no reason, my father in how he had to carry oil and olive barrels from is farm to different villages and selling them to people in order to provide for his entire family, and so on. Then, I will compare this to modern time human rights in Canada, and rewrite exactly what happened, but if my family had the access to help from the Canadian government and how it could have changed/impacter our lives.

English- We're both writing something for English. The journal with visuals and images I should choose the imagery that can emphasise the poem in my journal entries when I break down and explain the poem. Imagery is used a lot throughout the text so it will bring it to a different level. What should I focus on for my art aspect? -Depends on the emotions, use cool colours for sadness, and for happier parts use flowers etc... (use the emotions and represent them accurately) Emphasise the message not the story, but include the story. Since wood is involved, it can be used as a metaphor in itself.

Art- What do you want to know about the piece- Why I chose to cross stitch it and why did I choose the picture? She wants to see the process documented and the changes and challenges and how I overcame them.

Drama- Emphasise the message I'm trying to deliver in movement.

Law- Interview refugees and personal experiences and stories, written.
