I think when you are a granddaughter you are expected to love and care for your grandparents. When your grandparents live far away, you should go and visit them or call them on the phone. My grandmother lives in Pennsylvania so I have to travel 4 hours to see her. I make sure I do this multiple times a year. My grandmother likes to text, too, so I text her almost every week.
