7.Write 1 question you would like to ask the students you will meet.

How does it feel to study in one school for ten years or even longer?" 

In fact, I am also curious about primary education in Australia. How many hours do Australian kids attend classes each day? How long are their breaks? Do they have lunchtime? What time do they start and finish school?

What subjects are taught in primary schools there? In Taiwan, children have to take classes in their mother tongue; is it the same in Australia? Do Australian classrooms have homeroom teachers as well? Do these teachers also teach subjects like English and Mathematics?

I hope to have the chance to ask them and compare the education systems between Australia and Taiwan, to see what differences exist.

I am based in Taichung, and in the previous academic year, I taught fifth-grade students. I find that the kids from MBBC are just as lively and adorable as my own students, but they also display a strong sense of discipline. Thank you, Mr. Rosetta, for this wonderful opportunity.

I extend my gratitude to QI for arranging this experience for us to have a firsthand encounter with the education system in Australia. Thank you, MBBC, for providing us with such a pleasant teaching experience. I hope tomorrow's Peer Teaching goes as smoothly as it did today!

What I am most proud of in my teaching is the ability to accurately gauge the "students' "level and manage time effectively so that all the procedures are completed within the allotted time. However, if such teaching proves to be too challenging or fast-paced in a real classroom setting, adjustments must be made. I am grateful for the dedicated cooperation of my colleagues; they are not only the best students but also the best teachers.

 

2.Is there anything you would change based on feedback?

Yes, I will design more time and opportunities for students to practice because even though acapella is fun, it is not easy.

 

3.What are 2 techniques / strategies / frameworks / activities you saw from your peers that you would like to add to your toolkit?

1.Lucy's use of toast as a concept in designing variation exercises is worth learning from.

2.I will follow Joyce's example and incorporate the story and learning of the cajón into my teaching.
