https://padlet.com/maier001/5xaixpx3ksha A Profile of Grant Maier en-us 2017-09-12 21:21:37 UTC 2023-04-11 14:20:51 UTC hello@padlet.com https://www.taylorguitars.com/sites/default/files/feature-shape-big-baby.jpg maier001 https://padlet.com/maier001/5xaixpx3ksha/wish/187301808 Born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 27th 1997, Grant Maier was nothing more than a middle class citizen.  By two years of age, he and his family returned to Buffalo, NY, where he matured into the man we have all come to know.  As a child, he always managed to retain the center of attention, dancing to his favorite CD's and performing his own impromptu songs.  However, as Maier grew older, his interest in music seemed to dissipate when he began playing hockey.  Many years later, after joining the Schola Cantorum choir at his high school, his deep-rooted passion for music resurfaced.  By his senior year in 2015, Maier swapped his hockey stick for a six string, and began pursuing the dream that would eventually become reality.  His story begins after his graduation from college.]]> 2017-09-13 18:06:33 UTC https://padlet.com/maier001/5xaixpx3ksha/wish/187301808 maier001 https://padlet.com/maier001/5xaixpx3ksha/wish/187320006 Grant Maier graduated from Gannon University in 2021 with a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  He continued his pursuit of a music career while juggling his studies and social life.  Upon graduating, Maier returned to Cleveland and worked as a children's mental health counselor at the Cleveland Clinic.  His spare time was spent performing shows at local venues.  By August 2023, he was engaged to his fiancé, Colleen Watson, whom he married later that year.  In the spring of 2024, Maier dipped into his savings and assembled his own studio, which would come to be known as Middle Class Records (MCR).  MCR was exceedingly successful; renowned for its affordable studio time and Unbarred program.  Unbarred was a non-profit program which strove to provide music lessons for underprivileged children.  It attracted so much publicity, that it launched Maier head first into his dream career as an artist and producer.
