I learnt about Sang Nila Utama , the founder of Temasek or Singapore.  Sang Nila Utama was a brave prince who was hunting with his men and then he saw an island. He asked his men for the name of that island and his men told him that that was Temasek. Soon they set sail for Temasek and then a storm begun. His men threw the goods but nothing happened.
