  • Your body language, clothing, voice, and posture are all part of your impression to someone else meeting you. Sometimes dressing a specific way can sometimes make people have wrong judgments or impressions of you because of how you look.
  • 55% of first impressions are judged by the person's appearance or body language at first glance.

    • 150 employers were surveyed, the survey found that the #1 reason for rejecting an applicant after the first interview was poor personal appearance, which was over hostile, overbearing, know-it-all (#9) and late for the interview without a good reason (#28).
    • Good rule of thumb, dress slightly more formally than you expect your audience to.
