then this article talk about the cockney accent in general,
 he tells us where he came from ,
from the East London 
 neighborhoods,   and that is the objet of people the working class people ( working class is a taxi, postman).
It's not that the accent is hard to understand, but the fact that Cockney substitutes for words
it's a cockney rhyming slang
for exemple instead of saying up the stairs they say up the apples and pears If anyone tells you, I am having butchers that means  I am having a look.

-It is quite difficult to find accommodation! Especially at the right price. If on one of luck you can find a roommate room in the area for £ 400 a month, but only if one of luck. The first room I had found was really small. Impossible for me to live properly.

-What do you think of Londoners? Are they very different from the French?

I think it's like most French people. It depends on what types of Londoners you have for friends.
My group of friends were either foreigners who came to live in London to live a better life or English friends who worked in West End musicals or plays. Londoners are happier, more cultured and also very well dressed
But the English stereotype that comes out drinking beer in the pub leaving the taf and playing football on the weekend is completely true!
