it still has face to face interaction and is less exclusionary of people in less well-off areas. It teaches students the fundamentals of subjects as well as high-level creativity, so they understand subjects more deeply. It also helps develop social skills and human interaction.

It would be frustrating and limiting, in that it prevents students from making use of useful elements of technology that may benefit their learning or make things more efficient. It might also be reassuring, given that you are guaranteed a fair learning space and an experience which you know is not being tampered with.

Unfair advantage to the group of students that have access to Ai. It increases the affect of the economic divide between schools that, disadvantaged students from poorer or less accessible areas . Pupils won't have the same experience and so they disadvantaged after school in a world full of Ai, (uni, work etc). AI might be depended to heavily upon by society and knowledge may be lost.

Inequality in learning opportunities between the two types of schools. It will create students who have had incredibly different experiences in school, and the students will have much different work opportunities and will create inequality in the workplace just because someone went to a different kind if school

When students are given freedom they may not use it to their advantage. At the moment it is quite easy to manipulate AI so the student may do the same to avoid doing work. Humans are better at reading facial expressions, body language etc so a teacher would be better at knowing what the student actually needs/wants not just what they are saying. There may be a lack of discipline which does not prepare them for the real world, where they need to work hard, be sincere and responsible.

I liked that everyone has there own AI to help support them and is tailored to learn from that person. it allows the pupils to ask questions and be able to get a good clear answer rather than scrolling through google

The view of AI was very black-and-white and this wouldn't prepare students for work where AI would be a big part of many jobs. Students who had access to AI at home would be much better prepared for work and have an unfair advantage.

loss of social skills/human interaction as it could be isolating to have that much contact only with a screen. Individual learning paths would make it more difficult to benchmark exams and get qualifications, as everyone would be doing things at their own pace. Would also heavily impact travel and tourism industry as people could 'travel' from home, this would negatively impact a lot of economies. Teachers acting as 'guides'- teaching is one of the biggest degrees, and would upset uni balance/admissions

Similar to school in the present, but more unfair as students who had access to AI outside of school would have an advantage. The absence of AI would also be unfair for people who would benefit more from it such as disabled and neurodiverse people.

I disliked that teachers used the AI to mark as when it comes to homework teachers use it to find out what areas a pupil is struggling in and help them understand it. With a bot it would just be flagged as wrong instead of misunderstood

It would depend on which type of school. In the tech deprived school I'd feel like I got the short end of the stick cause my peers would have access to these tools that I wouldn't because of the school's belief. I wouldn't feel great in the school with technology either, as I would know that there'd be friends of mine that wouldn't have access to the things I do

We liked the fact that AI had been embraced in schools, even if it was limited to some learners it would still prove beneficial to the pupils that had access to it. We also liked the idea of helping learners with things such as dyslexia and autism. We think these groups would heavily benefit from this. Finally, even though AI was embraced it is good to see that the technology is still scrutinised and the negative affects monitored.

I think it would be quite exciting at first as there are lots of opportunities and support available. The building may be split into loads of little cubicles where everyone is on their computer everyday. This may make it lonely as one of the biggest motivations for going to school is getting to see your friends. You also would not physically move between classes which is not healthy and i think would be bad for your mental health.

Would open up lots of opportunities in terms of learning, however would also limit development of social skills. However, connecting with people from other countries would be beneficial, there is also always the danger of things like cat fishing or identity theft. Would speed things up such as marking, and could allow school year to be more fast paced.

Nothing much, the inequality doesn't sit right with me personally, it isn't good if everyone doesn't have access to the same opportunities. The benefits of the good oppertunities doesn't cancel that out

School would be interesting and more attention grabbing than current learning as each day is different were as now school feels like the same classes,faces,corridors and tasks each week with the only difference being the subject
