I am Australian. I was born in Sydney. I am a teacher at IES. I can speak two (2) other languages fluently (Thai and Lao language). I enjoy astronomy, computing and cooking good food. The main sport I like to participate in is swimming. I really enjoy helping my students strive to their full potential. I hope you enjoy the course this year in Academic English.

Hallo every one I am Shunki from Japan.
I lived in Brisbane city, my post-foundation major is tourism. My reason for study English is to get to UQ.
I have seriously learning English for 5 years.
I can speak Japanese and English my favorite food is ramen. US is my last foreign country that I have visited.
My good point is study hard and my bad point is lazy.
My main ambition is to be a rich men and travel to all over the world

Hey guys I’m Julie Nguyen Ba! I was born in Vung Tau in Vietnam. Which is south of Vietnam, 2 hours away from the capital. I currently live in the center of Brisbane and I plan on studying Information Technology in UQ next year. In my free time, I like to walk around and I also like cooking as well! In high school, I mainly spoke Vietnamese but I started studying English to better communicate with other people and to aid my learning in Australia. I love eating rice noodles and I look up to Bill Gates greatly. In my opinion, the internet is the greatest invention man has ever created. Before coming to Australia, I visited Taiwan. Personally, I think one of my traits is that I forgive others easily but at the same time think that I can be forgetful from time to time. After my Studies at UQ, I plan on becoming a successful Software Designer.
