In my student teaching placement, students have a hard time staying on tasks; especially when it is time for them to copy what the teacher is writing on the board. This would be a good strategy to keep every student in check and make sure that they are learning to be personally responsible.

My favorite type of grouping is ReQuest because it allows everyone to get involved and state what they think their answer. Also, students that do not get the correct answer can work with the partner to get the correct answer.

This is my favorite because it is something I see a lot in my placement right now. My class is so chatty that we often have students off task so having a partner check in with them has made a huge difference in their attention to directions and execution if those instructions.

My favorite type of grouping is the ability grouping. I like that you can make groups that are the same ability level, or you can purposefully group students together so they are not all the same ability level.
