To be our most honest selves when we are with God.

His story about his mom is what really struck to me because i was just listening and hadn't realized the tears that were already running down my face. Maybe it was a sign on how much I miss my family. This past few weeks have been very busy, and I had little to no energy anymore to be with them but rather want to rest. I realized how much family means to me how important it is to love them and be grateful for all the blessings and people around us.

I can strengthen my spiritual immune system by spending more time with God. I shouldn't try to win His love but just let Him love me. I have felt God's grace whenever He answers my prayers (like when a loved one is sick.) This recollection has reminded me that we should value relationships since this is where God's grace is penetrated. He wants us united, not divided. My family is one of the greatest blessings that God has ever given me, and I should forever keep them dear in my heart. We should also remember that if God's word isn't spreading, then hopefully His love is.

I would strengthen my spiritual system based on the sharing of brother Andreus by always being hopeful and not giving up on things easily. I learned that whatever happens, we shall not give up as God has better surprises in store for us. It would really strengthen my spiritual system because of the stronger feeling of hope I received. I have lots of experience where I received God's grace. I received it when I entered UST. I'm still and will always be grateful for the opportunity and blessing he gave me. After the Recollection, I realized that God is really good all the time, and we should be like him too. We should serve and help others as much as we can, straight from the heart and purely from the soul.

I can help strengthen my spiritual immune system by spending time with people who positively support me as who I am.

The UST JHS Lenten Recollection that was held on March 26, 2022, was truly inspiring, enlightening, and soul-awakening. After attending the mass and listening to the speaker, I have learned various ways how I can strengthen my spiritual immune system. I can strengthen my relationship with God by communicating with Him through constantly praying, allowing Him to heal my wounded self, and following His plans for me.

During this pandemic, we may be physically distanced, but through God's grace, we are all spiritually united with Him. I can feel His presence in all the good things around me. His grace is everywhere, and I consider them the blessings that I receive every day -- my family, my friends, my life, etc.

Undeniably, I gained more knowledge about God after this Lenten Recollection. My favorite part was the talk done by Bro. Andreus Cosio. I may not be able to summarize through plenty of words everything that I have learned, but they are surely instilled in my heart. During these trying times, we must never forget that God is always with us, and that is why in this Lenten season, we should be offering more of what we have to God and to others -- time, kindness, blessings, and gratitude.

Based on Brother Andreus' sharings, we can develop our spiritual immune system by allowing God to love us, remaining faithful to the Lord, and so on. He taught us many vital life lessons, including the fact that God is always there for us, even when we are at our lowest. I've been drained by online classes since it's been so difficult for me to move forward during this pandemic. When I was at my lowest, I was so exhausted by what was going on in my life, but then there's God, who is always with me; I constantly pray to him, even when I'm not at my lowest, and I give thanks to Him every day for giving me His grace. He gave me the courage to keep fighting these obstacles in my life. This memory reminds me that God isn't only observing us; he's always assisting us, and even if we can't see Him, we can still sense His presence in our daily lives. He is constantly there for us, loving us, hugging us, accepting us, and guiding us.

Trusting the Lord God, make decisions that is right, praying to him whenever I am need of help, and let his love heal my wounds.

Brother Andreus shared a lot of his experience which helped me in to realize many things. His love for the Lord is unbelievable. Despite his triumphs and problems, he still trusted God and let his faith do the rest. I realize that we don’t need to be in church to feel God’s grace. I feel God whenever I am praying to him and he always gives an answer.

This year’s recollection is one of my favorite. The stories of Brother Andreus about his cheating in exams, his broken laptop, his failed relationship, his family, and his mother, was very touching. When he was telling us the stories, I always ended up having chills. I realize that God will never leave us, even if we are big sinners, he will always listen to us and answer our prayers. This recollection helped me to be closer to God, hearing those beautiful stories, I now believe more on God’s work.

On my end, Brother Andreus Cosio's sharing on March 26, 2022, was extremely inspirational. The pandemic was unquestionably difficult for all of us, and some people lost faith in God as a result. However, in this time of adversity, I believe that the Lord is one of mankind's primary sources of strength, motivation, and inspiration. I can strengthen my spiritual immune system by nourishing my relationship with Him through prayer.

Despite my faith in God, I am dissatisfied with the deaths, inequities, and violent political disputes brought about by COVID-19. Brother Andreus Cosio's brief presentation, on the other hand, taught me one thing: God's grace is everywhere. Although some people may not feel it at times, I believe it is a part of our journey as human beings to find it. And this grace does not have to come in the form of material goods. For example, I've felt God's grace via my loved ones on several occasions.

Each of us encounters challenging situations as we go about our daily lives. When we are in pain or suffering, we are often astonished that these problems have entered our life, and we forget that God has never said that the journey will be easy. When we face difficulties, it's important to remember that God is still at work in us. In stressful times, having faith can help you find serenity in God's presence. Learning to surrender all our troubles and struggles to God can relieve us of a great load. God has given us faith so that we can identify His deeds and not be anxious all of the time when we are faced with uncertainty.

It is not for God to decide whether you will love Him or not. But one thing is for sure, even if you lose your pathway to God or forget to pray, He will never leave you. We need to acknowledge that God loves us so much. So we must strengthen our spiritual immune system. But how? By praying to God and thanking Him every day. Even if we don't need help or ask for anything, we must pray to God. We need to center and prioritize God in our lives the same as He prioritizes us. Because His grace helps us change our lives, face our hardships, and move along with faith as we journey back to Him.

A few months ago, my family and I tested positive for covid. I was in my worse condition, and I felt so much pain. I didn't know what to do because I knew how dangerous covid was, and I was scared. My mom keeps telling me to pray, let God enter you, let God love you, and that is what I did. I keep on praying, and I let God love me. After a few days of praying and thanking God for everything, I felt alleviated and relieved. We decided again to test for covid, and the result came back, and it was already negative. That is when I felt God's grace and realized that it is by grace that I am being healed and saved. So, what struck me the most in the Recollection is one of the slides of Brother Andreus, Ephesians 2:8, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."

God loves us with everlasting love. No matter how much we sin, He will always be ready to welcome us back home. He will continue His faithfulness to us. That is why I realize God fills up our life. God completes us through the power of the Holy Spirit by guiding us with His everlasting love. Because of this, God uses us as instruments to share this love with others and be a blessing to others. I believe we should all be an instrument and unite as one. Because that is what God wants us to do, to unite during this pandemic.

I can strengthen my spiritual system by connecting with God through sincere prayers. Also by being open-minded to God by having the courage to tell him everything that makes me down. By making sure that every moment is worth it and memorable. Have the will of loving God or accepting his love in many ways.

I felt God’s grace in the times when I am feeling down and unmotivated. He helped me become a better version of myself and more faithful to feel his guidance and protection. It is also when my sister was COVID-19 positive, my family and I kept on praying that time and taking care of her to become healthier and escape her depression phase. God surely has heard our prayers during that time because she recovered in less than a week which made our hearts feel lighter and relieved. I’m glad to say that prayer is indeed our strongest weapon because I know that God will never leave us and will always be there for us through our darkest times.

I learned a lot from the recollection, especially about the spiritual aspect of our life. It is to become more open to God, to cherish every moment of our life, and to keep ourselves faithful and hopeful whenever we know that God is there. Brother Andreus’ stories touched my heart, especially the story in the slide I screenshotted which made me realize many things as well. He is a kind and loving person who cares about everyone he loves in his life.

Witnessing Brother Andreus' share last March 26 at our recollection was certainly a heartwarming opportunity. Listening to his enlightening remarks provided a much-needed emotional and spiritual upliftment, particularly during this time of uncertainty. To tackle anything that threatens our relationship with God, we must build our spiritual immune system. In order to do so, one of the proposed solutions by Bro. Andreus that stood out to me — and that is to completely love Him, and let Him love us.

God's loving grace that sustains and saves us, I believe, is always available. From the moment of my birth, up to the person who I am today, I experience a deep sense of his grace in my God-given abilities and strengths, in my current circumstances, and in my loved ones, for which I am eternally thankful. For an instance, my prayers were answered by Him through His graciousness, and in return, I developed a great sense of gratitude for his kindness.

"God Knows, Yet God Loves." It's incredible to believe that this brief statement expresses an important and significant message that we, as followers of Christ, should embrace. We have sinned or disappointed Him at times in our life, yet He still exhibits His unconditional love to us, despite the fact that we are undeserving of it. That being said, the season of Lent serves as a reminder for us to repent while providing us an opportunity to remember God and his life in greater depth.

Throughout the sharing of Brother Andreus, I learned that in strengthening our spiritual immune system we have to strengthen our relationship with God. “To open ourselves and let God love us” is one of Brother Andreus' ideas in doing it. That with all our flaws and sins, we just have to let Him love us as who we are. That praying to Him with sincerity open us up to He’s grace. We just have to turn to the face of the Father and trust Him because God’s grace is always available.

Throughout hardships and obstacles in life, Jesus has often reminded me that I am not alone. He sees me, understands my challenges, and sympathizes with my suffering. This pandemic has helped me to put my whole confidence in the Lord, knowing that he is in complete charge of any circumstance and is capable of defeating any evil. He never abandons, ignores, or forsakes us. He is constantly with us and loves us.

During and after the Recollection, I realized that we are truly loved by God. God knows everything about us; our wounds, our strengths and weaknesses, and even our sins. But, despite knowing our wrongdoings and everything we did, He still stayed by our side guiding us and loving us. He still continued to shower us with blessings. “You’re fully known yet fully love”.

We strengthen our spiritual immune system through prayer and strengthen our relationship with God by opening up to him.
I feel God's Grace all the time but is more present when I am facing problems that I normally can't handle alone.
I realized that Gods grace is available any time, anywhere and at any situation. We should open up to the people we love and that God is good and he will love and never abandon us no matter how many times we sin as long as we go to him.
