I'm excited at the challenge of teaching an ensemble class virtually and am looking forward to using the resources provided by Katrina Chaney as well as the ones on Will's really great Google Site! I'm also looking forward to collaborating some more with the other specialists to brainstorm creative ways to make these types of classes as interactive as possible to best support our students.

Our SPED "Why" is that we all know someone who benefited from or would've benefited from the extra support we give our students. We love our students and want them to know they can do anything-including go to college! The support and love they get from us will last a lifetime! We all have role models from our past and we want to be those role models for our students who receive special education services.

My why for teaching music in general is just because it's fun! It's a healthy outlet for expression. Everyone deserves to take part in fundamental human expressions!! <3 ALSO FCPS and McNair have been sooo welcoming and amazing. I'm excited

The Staff Site is so user friendly and going to be a great resource to access easily. So much time saved looking for things.
