Design challenges give students the chance to practice the 4C's- communication, collaboration, critical thinking & creativity. They even came up with two additional C's- cooperation & compromise!

Design Challenges included Kindergarten's Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. Kindergarten students created their own coconut trees and tried to add as many letters as they could!

Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd graders created haunted houses with Keva Planks and put the 10 Timid Ghosts in or on their houses! The goal was not to knock the house down under the ghosts' weight.

1st graders learned about National Symbols using print and Pebble Go, an online subscription database.
2nd graders learned about the many different bat species and use the app Pic Collage for Kids to share their research  with classmates.
3rd graders researched different animal adaptations using print, Pebble Go and Encyclopedia Britannica.
4th graders completed a Rocks & Minerals research project where they had to answer riddles using the research process.
