I've been striding since the first PurpleStride in Chicago! Dad passed away the year before they started two months after being diagnosed. My uncle went a few years later. This is my last photo of just Dad and me. I stride to help all the families dealing with this disease.

We walk and fundraiser in memory of my amazing dad (father in law and grandpa) Greg Etters 💜👨🏻He has three little granddaughters, to whom he was just the greatest guy ever! 🥰, that have become quite the Pancreatic Cancer awareness advocates!🥰 Although this years ‘Grandpa Walk’ won’t be the same - our home version will not disappoint! We walk in hopes that one day no one has to battle this horrible disease and no family has to go through such a terrible loss like we all have. We miss you every day Daddy! 😘💜👨🏻

Fighting since 10/23/18. He’s larger than life and all who know him walk away from conversation feeling special. He is a wonderful father to a 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son. We walk so they can have as much time with him as possible. We walk to advance the cure. THRIVING FOR A CURE is determined to help Kevin beat this terrible diagnosis.

I wage hope for my mom and all who have passed way before their time! She passed away on September 27th 2019 exactly 9 months ago. She fought 14 difficult months and went through multiple surgeries, chemo, and radiation treatment. She loved her life and had a big heart of gold. She was taken from me at 65 years old, way too young. All her life she fought and until her last breathe she continued to fight. I will miss her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, and kind soul. ¡Te quiero muchísimo Mommy, cada día de mi vida lo logro por ti! Gracias por amarme y ser la más maravillosa mamá del mundo 💜
