Home to three religions (Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism), its natural setting and beautifully ornamented buildings make it as much a scenic attraction as an important religious centre.

The temple commemorates the famous monk of yore, Wong Tai Sin (also known as Huang Chu-ping), who was born in the Fourth century and became a deity at Heng Shan (Red Pine Hill). In 1915, Taoist priest Liang Ren-an carried a sacred portrait of Wong Tai Sin from Guangdong in southern China to Hong Kong. Now housing this precious portrait, the Wong Tai Sin Temple is where worshippers pray for good fortune through offerings, divine guidance and fortune telling.
Tian Tian
It is one of the five largest Buddha statues located in China. However, other Chinese dialects such as the Hakka, the Taishanes and the Teochiu, as well as of course the mandarin, the official dialect of China, are also present. On the other hand English isthe main language of international discourse a spoken by 500 million people around the world. It’s also know as traditional Chinese (粵語) or Yue. Yue varieties are among the most conservative of Chinese varieties regarding the final consonants and tonal categories of Middle Chinese, so that the rhymes of Tang poetry are clearer in Yue dialects than elsewhere. It had a series of voiced initials. The /kʰ/ has become [h] or [f] in most words. Some Yue speakers, such as many Hong Kong Cantonese speakers born after World War II, merge /n/ with /l/, younger Cantonese speakers also tend not to distinguish between /ŋ/ and the zero initial,

While most Chinese varieties form compounds consisting of a qualifier followed by a qualified element, Yue dialects use the reverse order. For example, the Standard Chinese word for "guest" is 客人 kèrén "guest-person", but the same morphemes are interchanged in Cantonese jɐn ha:k, Example: Some Yue dialects, including Cantonese, use the same word bīn-go (邊個), meaning "which one", for both "who" and "which".
