 Accountants primary job scope is preparing and examining financial records. Their are managing the the financial reports by searching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports. In order to fulfill the task, they need to make sure that all the records that they need to prepared are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time before the due date. AIS composed of three major subsystems which is transaction processing systems (TPS), that support daily business operation, general ledger, which produces the traditional financial statements and management reporting systems, which provides the internal management.  In terms making all this process and transaction to be happen, AIS has consist of six primary components which is affecting the job scope as accountants first should be accountant as the finger of the stars (people), procedures and instruction, data, software, information technology infrastructure and internal control.

To store information, AIS must have the database structure such as structured query language (SQL), a computer language commonly used for database.
