         <description><![CDATA[<div>It would be effective in that time period on the subject of slavery but in this time period, on the , let's say subject of abortion, it would be a bad idea. People not paying their taxes because they don't believe abortions should be done and they think their tax money goes to abortion clinics (which they do) is a waste of money, isn't a good reason to not pay taxes. Your tax money goes to a lot of things. Not just the one thing you don't like so you won't fund it unknowingly. And it would change things, and probably not for the better, cause if you don't pay your taxes, you get caught, then you go to jail, and then some one else has to pay for you staying in jail with their taxes. Nothings fixed, just more problems will be created.</div>]]></description>

He doesn’t want to work on his respect for the law, he wants the rights to respect the law. He is also asks how should a man behave toward the government, the men that are associated with the government is a disgrace. And he says he doesn’t want to show respect for a government that governs slaves.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> he is saying that there are thousands of people who have are against slavery and have yet to show it, even though they are “ children” of washington and franklin they do nothing. And even voting is just them saying that they want it to happen, they are not doing anything about it. He also says that no matter how small the movement may start out that by the end it will not be just one man.</div>]]></description>

He studied law and advocated for the civil rights if Indians both under British rule and in south Africa. He became a leader of India’s independence organizing boycotts and protests against British institutions in peaceful forms of civil disobedience. He was killed on January 30th 1948 by a Hindu extremist who shot him at point blank.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Martin Luther King Jr. was born january 15th ,1929 ,in atlanta georgia. He was a Baptist minister and civil rights activist who had a huge impact on america in the beginning and mid 1950s, because if his activism and inspirational speeches. He played a huge role in the ending of legal segregation  of african american citizens, he also played a role in the creation of the civil rights act of 1964 and the voting rights acts of 1965. He was awarded the nobel prize in 1964 among several other honors. He was assassinated on april 1968 and is still remembered for being one of the most influential african americans.</div>]]></description>

This was an act of civil disobedience because he got arrested for doing so and he took his insistence and was in jail for a little bit but not his full sentence. </div>]]></description>
