no woman no cry- when Romeo was crying, friar told him to get his act together. the song references being strong and not crying "thy tears are womanish; thy wild acts denote."
be alright- the song talks about staying hopeful and that is something friar gives during a lot of the play. "ah, Juliet, I already know thy grief; it strains me past the compass of my wits: I hear thou must, and nothing may prorogue it, on Thursday next be married to this country."
end of the road- the song mentions the road ending which is what friar told Romeo when he got banned from Verona. "give me thy hand; tis late: farewell; good night."
I smile- this song is about even when in the dark to stay positive. even though Romeo was banned, friar was being calm and nice which is what exactly Romeo needed. "sojourn in Mantua; ill find out your man, and he shall signify from time to time every good hap to you that chances here."
bad decisions - the song is about making bad decisions. friar made a bad decision which made both Romeo and Juliet die. "come, go, good Juliet. I dare no longer  stay."
deuces- this song is about leaving and that is exactly what friar did. he left Juliet with Romeo to die when things got bad. "I dare no longer stay."
blessings- this song is about praising God. "in herbs, plants, stones, and their true qualities. for nought so vile that on earth doth live. but to earth some special good doth live."
live your life- the song is about living your life because tomorrow is never granted. friar tells Romeo to leave and go to Mantua and live life. "go hence; good night; and here stands all your state: either be gone before the watch be set."
the show goes on- this song is about keep going and moving forward. Romeo tries to kill himself but friar stops him.
