         <description><![CDATA[<div>By disposing of food in a non-recycling receptacle, it goes into landfills, where the lack of oxygen causes the food to create methane, a greenhouse gas.  Alternatively, composting and/or using green waste recycling bins are the ideal solutions: composted food scraps create a rich soil, ideal for gardening and growing new food!</div>]]></description>
