This product is a 3D Escape Room game that will include complex puzzles that players will feel satisfaction at solving within a limited time. Depending on the time constraints and technical challenges, it could be a single room with multiple puzzles or multiple rooms that can be accessed through solving some puzzles.

The purpose of this project is to produce a cheaper and digitized alternative to Escape Rooms. This provides an opportunity in the market as there is only one other product that could compete against it, making it an untapped market that can be exploited to generate higher revenue.

To produce a quality product that will break through an untapped market to obtain profit and bring in more consumers as well as advertise the company.

 

To popularize the genre of puzzle solving/escape rooms, making it possible for the company to invest in future development and increase income.

 

To present a creative approach to the project and take advantage of the opportunity presented in order to elevate the company’s reputation and ingenuity.

Multiple security mechanisms that have relation with logging entries have to be taken into account to develop this product, besides the services and server operating system that should be picked in order to implement it.


1.1.   Business Need, Problem, or Opportunity

The opportunity that Single Sign-On project provides is that it will reduce the time and energy to having to login into multiple platforms individually; by logging in only once.

The strategic objective for this project is that it will help the Bahrain Polytechnic staff and students to have less worry about forgetting the different logging entries that they have made for each different platforms.
As for the business objective, this project might have potential interested stakeholders since it will help them to reduce the sequential processes to having to login to ddifferent platforms using different authentication techniques

 Use a penetration testing, such as open source web-application OWASP Mutillidae II Web Pen-Test software to find the vulnerabilities, in order to test against different types of attacks. Also, it will help the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) secured from SQL injection and cross-site scripting.   

For this product we will have to create mini-Banking web-based application for testing, manage the application users and develop test agents, to create a similar environment of the bank. This will help to find possible opportunities that the hackers may find, and to generate a report that shows the problem and how to protect it. 

It is both a need and a problem.

Need: CBB need to keep people’s money safe from hackers and cyber theft, therefore they need a penetration testing to checks for incoming potential problems they might face in the near future.

Problem: nowadays hacker are looking for a new and alternative way to hack CBB, therefore they have to improve their security. 

The first thing is, creating a mini bank similar to the real one, to find out potential problem that hackers may consider hacking with it. 

Second, use web-applicationOWASP Mutillidae II Web Pen-Test software, to test some of hacker’s attacks and to learn how they hack. This will help to create a report on what the problem is and how to prevent it, then giving it to the developers of CBB.

Lastly, the main objective is to keep CBB safe from SQL injection attacks and cross-site scripting or any possible attacks from the hackers, which are shown in the report that will be given to the developers.

This project requires a full simulation review concerning the link failure and recovery process in order to continuously provide connectivity to all users. The backbone configuration of the ISP is like any large organization network, thuds a suitable routing protocol must be implemented. However, each routing protocols have different features, thus, choosing the best from the options available is crucial.

 

There is increase in mobile traffic in ISP network which leads to link failure. The solution will help to improve the ISP wireless network and satisfy the customers. The aim of this project is to develop wireless technologies in an ISP network that can provide more throughput and lower delays. There will be a comparison between some wireless technologies and routing protocols to fide which one suite the ISP needs.       

Project Context:Opportunity:
The project will review the links (wireless and routing protocol) failure and recovery process in order to continuously provide connectivity to all users. The project will implement and LTE (wireless technology) for wide range topology. Also it will simulate some real scenarios to collect appropriate statistics. And finally there will be a compression between different routing protocol that was implemented and tested in the simulation to find which one can suits customers need.

Project Objectives (Strategic and Business):
The project has two main objectives. The first one is a quality objective; the ISP needs to find the failure in the wireless technology and the weaknesses in the routing protocols. The second one is technical objective, where there will be utilization for wireless technology and routing protocols.   

This project will provide a flexible cloud infrastructure complete with development/testing tools for software developers. Whether in a classroom or work environment it is beneficial to have a centralized infrastructure for developers to make configuration and setup faster and easier. This will lead to simplified processes when starting new projects that use different frameworks and technologies, therefore resulting in operational excellence. The project can achieve such feats by using a technology called "Application Containers" which is very flexible and managed in the background without any need for user interference. The management of the containers is done by Eclipse Che which is free server software. It is both cost-effective and user friendly.

This project pursues the opportunity to leverage existing technologies (containers, cloud computing) to make setting up lab environments for classrooms as swift as possible. It should eliminate the need to manually set up every single workstation to support the required development/testing platform. This is also applicable to development teams where it is useful to have a consolidated development “workspace”.
