Yuma: The healthy plate infographic was introduced to the children. Then, they applied their knowledge and understanding of the 'healthy plate' by creating their own healthy plate using a paper plate, glue and food pictures. Children were asked to bring pictures of various foods from home, such as food pictures from magazines cut-outs/pamphlets. Teacher also provided pictures of food cut-outs for the children to create their healthy plate.

Children discovered that there are different recipes that they can try out to enhance their healthy eating habits.
