REFLECTION

 

A)     In short, how you distinguish Creativity and Innovation.

· Creativity is dreaming of new things while innovation means making those dream come true.

· the thinking up of new things and concepts can be termed creativity whereas innovation is the process of converting these thoughts into practical usage.

· Creativity is said to be the capability of conceiving something unusual or original. On the other hand, innovation is said to be the implementation of some new thing.

· if something new has been brought into existence, it can be said that you have created it, while if you have made improvements to something which already exists, then you can be said to have made an innovation.

· Creativity is generating ideas and innovation is bringing these ideas to life.

· Creativity is related to experience whereas innovation is related to observation.
 
 

B)    Do you think the Concept of Innovation are Costly? Why do you think so?

Yes, because every product you want to innovate needs the cost to buy the necessary items. The cost of the investment is needed to increase the market price of a product. But the cost of the investment will be amortized if the product gets high demand from customers.

C)    Do you see innovation as a culture or behaviour?

Both depend on producers as companies seeking a lucrative return and want to improve the quality of a product should make this innovation as

Culture of their lives. This innovation can also be said as the behaviour of a person who wants to produce a product and create their own name.

a)In short, how you distinguish Creativity and Innovation? 

The main difference between creativity and innovation is the focus. Creativity is about unleashing the potential of the mind to conceive new ideas. Those concepts could manifest themselves in any number of ways, but most often, they become something we can see, hear, smell, touch, or taste. Innovation is the implementation of something new. Innovation is about introducing change into relatively stable systems. It’s also concerned with the work required to make an idea viable. By identifying the innovation, an organization can use innovation to apply its creative resources to design an appropriate solution and reap a return on its investment. 

b) Do you think the concept of innovation are costly? Why do you think so? 

I think the innovation are costly because everyone do not get innovation for free and have to allocate time, money and people to the search for new products, services, methods etc. However, innovation can lead to powerful cost savings, profitable new products and competitive advantage. Indeed right now the main benefit of innovation might be survival. If you just cut costs and don’t innovate you will be bypassed in the market by more agile competitors. 

c) Do you see innovation as a culture or behavior? 

The innovation as a culture because see failure as a learning experience. At a company that nurtures a culture of innovation, failure is seen as merely a stepping stone to success. So, whenever you encounter failure, instead of hanging your head in shame make a note of the lessons you’ve learned. If you believe in an idea, give it a try without allowing the fear of failure to take over. As long as you are a responsible risk taker and always strive for success, a few bumps in the road will only make you a better innovator.

Based on my own opinion, creativity is an act of creating new ideas, imaginations and possibilities. For example, imagine creating a product make more stylish and complex. Innovation is the introduction of something new and effective into the market. Also change a design and create about something new. 

B)     Do you think the Concept of Innovation is costly? Why do you think so? 

No, concept of Innovation is implies that benefit is derived from applications of new market or technological knowledge. Innovation also may create new products or services to serve new markets, enabling an organisation to expand its market base. 

C)     Do you see Innovation as a culture or behaviour? 

Many companies usually use both in their companies. Innovation cultures are is an organization that competes in markets defined by rapid change; maintaining the status quo is insufficient to compete effectively. Company often use creating a innovation cultures within their companies. When have these conversations, they often act if organizational culture to greet the people. 

Innovation behaviour extremely depends on the quality of leadership in the organization. When leadership is strong, these organizations seem to invariably lead on the innovation dimension as well. 

a) In short, how you distinguish Creativity and Innovation 

 

The idea of creativity is new and originally from yours meanwhile innovation you get it from the existing product and you improvise the product with something that can give more value to the market. All innovation begins with creative idea. 

 

b)Do you think the concept of innovation is costly? Why do you think so? 

 

For me, innovation is costly especially when you are in industries. In order to ensure that your product or service to sustain in the market, you have to compete with others and this fierce competition will lead people to be innovative. For example by applying new technology in your company, it will cost a lot of money because advanced system is quiet costly but in return it will give many benefits to your company. In addition, we did not know the possibility that our innovation will succeed or not. In the other hand, it is possible to make innovation cheap and easy. 

 

c)Do you see innovation as a culture or behavior? 

 

I would say both because culture and behaviour is related to each other. Behaviour determines culture and vice versa. Both appear to drive innovation. For example, good company culture and the trustworthy among leaders and team members.

2.0  Do you think innovation are costly and why?

 

From my opinion the innovation are costly. This is because we will not sure whether the innovation that we make are successful or not. If the innovation is failed, loss of money will occur. In other hand, if the process are successful it will reduce the cost. We need to invest on this process to make this innovation. But the cost of process will depends on what innovation that we want to make and what raw material that we use.

3.0  Do you see innovation as a culture or behavior?

 

As I see the innovation as a culture. There are number of issues that will create resistance to change to an innovative culture. Nowadays a lots of company do the innovation process in their product. People want to work easily, faster and because of that innovation as a culture. For example the brands of phones such as Samsung, Vivo, Oppo and others are getting towards innovation. The company are compete each other to be the best of innovative or technology phones.

 

The main difference between creativity and innovation is the focus. Creativity is about unleashing the potential of the mind to conceive new ideas. By identifying an unrecognized and unmet need, an organization can use innovation to apply its creative resources to design an appropriate solution and reap a return on its investment.

2.0  Do you think innovation are costly and why?

 

I think innovation are not costly because it depends on what materials that we used. The innovation will reduce the cost unless the innovation are not success it will higher the cost. Other than that, innovation is only adding or change the existing product to be better. It will reducing the cost if we use proper technology and do the process very carefully.

 

3.0  Do you see innovation as a culture or behavior?

 

Innovation as a culture. This is because it will encourage the people to do the innovation. When the culture is good and in culture of innovation more people will do the innovation.

            While there is so many difference between creativity and innovation, in my opinion is creativity is actually the act of imagining something that produce the person to be creators , a continous flow of imaginary thoughts and it does not need experience. In other hand, innovation is implementation of novel idea that produce that person to be innovators, execution of creative thoughts and comes out from experience.

 

B) Do you think the Concept of innovation are Costly? Why do think so?

            I think that to be innovative it does not need to be costly. If all people can do a brainstorming and create the creative thoughts among them, a company can come up with a new innovation. The workers just need to build a good teamwork among themselves and solve any problems that lead to high cost. They can also allocate how much they want to spent to produce the new innovation.

 

C) Do you see Innovation as a culture or behavior?

            In my opinion, innovation need both either it is culture or behavior because to produce inventor, they need a workplace where innovation culture had been implemented in that workplace and among all the workers. Besides that, to make an innovation, the person itself which is the workers in the company should have a inventor behavior to come up with fresh and new idea of innovation.
