I'm learning to step out into that role by becoming a motivational speaker on social media, standing up for myself in certain environments, do research on the leadership role as a counselor and figure out how I will respond to certain scenarios. Growing up, I was shy or scared to speak but God told me " I'm going to use the very thing you dislike as your purpose.... Speaking". Now it's my time to answer the call. Overview

My results were fair but leadership is what I most struggle with. When I think of me becoming a school counselor I see myself making sure i go above and beyond in the creative aspect to provide guidance while providing wisdom and life knowledge with a touch of ethics from my teachings at Walden University.

Strengths

Establish and convene an advisory council for the comprehensive school counseling program
Use time appropriately according to national recommendations and student/school data
Develop annual student outcome goals based on student data
Assess and report program results to the school community
Create school counseling program beliefs, vision and mission statements aligned with the school and district
Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, other school staff and education stakeholders for student achievement and success
Consult to support student achievement and success
Make referrals to appropriate school and community resources

Weaknesses

The areas I would need to work on is "Demonstrate leadership through development and implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program". The reason is because leadership is something I struggles with since I was a child because I was shy and stayed to myself. When it came to the leadership role, I would do my best to not have that responsibility. As I'm learning myself in faith, I have realized my purpose comes with transit
