This painting enchants me because it reminds me of childhood, when everything was pure and simple. It's funny to think about it, because when we're children, we don't realize how good it is to enjoy that time; our greatest desire is to grow up. But when you grow up, you see things so differently. The painting brings a nostalgia that mixes longing and a little sadness. Seeing the children playing in a circle reminds me of the times I used to have with my cousins, totally immersed in play, without any worries.
