This has an impact on people and the sport as less people can participate and it isn't equal. Also there has been limited opportunities within activities but these activities have been cheep sports with little equipment and facilities. This has an impact on them as they may have a talent but they can't show this to others as a result of no facilitates. Some of these effects are when black people wasn't accepted in football and was discriminated it resulted in less opportunities for people from all backgrounds to participate and succeed/ progress within the sport. This then means that there are less black and ethnic role models and coaches within sport leading to people thinking that they aren't good enough and forming a negative opinion. As well as this the encouragement of individuals in specific sports can lead to stereotypes and formation of groups meaning that different sports have a stacking of certain sports. For example in football their is a lack of black managers because people start to believe and form an opinion that white managers are to been better and 'normal' as that's all their club have ever seen. Another effect is that black players face more battles with social media and performance. This is because when they receive racial comments when playing football they have to make sure they deal with it right but it will effect their performance. This is because if they get angry about the racial situation they may take this out in the game meaning that they do a dangerous tackle leading to them been sent off. Also through social media they may get comments about how bad they played today and this may make there self esteem go down as they have received racial comments and now social media are been negative.
