         <title>The benefits of the Caravel were large cargo hold for long voyages, shallow keel to allow them to explore close to shore, and large square sails for power. It was used for exploring the oceans. Over the year the ship was advanced to go faster, and have better manoeuvrability.</title>

The caravel was a vessel of paramount importance in the 15th and 16th centuries, when it was used to traverse the immense barrier to the New World.
