I cut slabs and scored and slipped them together to form a vessel. After it was fired I made a pattern and taped it. Then I glazed over the tape, and removed it when it was dry so I could see the pattern. I really liked the colors, and the lines. One thing I didn’t like was shape, it didn’t turn out how I wanted. I used a ruler to make 6 even lines across my plate. I used a cutting tool to make the dots and then stained them with airbrush. I painted it with a light green underglaze. After it was fired I put clear glaze over it. I liked the pattern that i used with the dots, it looked really good. I didn’t like the bottom, it was to plain. I cut out 4 slabs of clay, and scored and slipped them together to form a box. Then I added clay in the shape of rocks and bricks and scored and slipped them onto the box. I made a pattern next to the rocks and bricks using a needle tool. Then i added a lid with a handle and a stopper. I liked the pattern and colors, because it worked really good together. I didn’t like the lid, it didn’t look right with the piece.
